If it's not available in Open Camera via the switch camera icon, it means Samsung haven't exposed the wide camera to third party camera applications.
Out of interest, how well does the Samsung S10e work if Settings/"Use Camera2 API" is enabled? In particular, I'm curious about taking photos with flash, or manual controls (see the "-/+" icon, switch to a non-auto ISO value)? Thanks!

Just got an S10e - for anyone else reading this, all three cameras are available to third party applications including Open Camera, this requires a recent update (somewhere between January and June 2019).
In fact there are 4 cameras exposed (and available to Open Camera) - the front camera also has a wide camera mode, which matches the wide mode for front camera on the stock camera. This is good - I had seen reports that third party cameras only had access to the "cropped" front camera, but it seems they fixed this too in the recent update.

I don't seem to have a "switch camera" icon in the Open Camera app on my fully updated Galaxy S10.
Am I missing something?

It's the icon to the right, just above the take photo icon, below the gallery icon. The same icon that's used to switch between front and rear cameras.

yes, realized today that switching between front / rear also toggles the wide.
I'll test the flash tonight but been enjoying manual controls so far.
Thanks for the info!
