I cant seem to record videos with my Samsung S8 when I connect my USB microphone to the device (Snowball ICE). The error "video may be corrupted" always appears and the video never saves to my phone. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I am having the exact same issue using MOTO Droid Turbo II and a Snowball ICE.

I have an S7 and am having the exact same issue. I am trying to use a Blue Yeti. I plug the mic in to the adapter and then the adapter in to the micro USB port. The detects it. I went to the app sets and selected using an external mic. That is what all the online videos say to do and when I start recording it seems to be fine, but as as soon as I end the recording it says there is an error and that the file may be corrupt. I thought maybe I had to download a driver or something, but there are many videos on youtube of people using an S7 with a Yeti mic with no issues. I wonder if there is a recent update or something that has caused this issue. I can't figure it out.

Same, Nexus 5 with Andrea SB-205B stereo mic & included USB adapter. Stereo works on other apps, but Open Camera shows error "video may be corrupted" when stopping a recording. Thanks for the great open source app would be so cool to get this working.

Hi guys! Founda glitch you can use, not optimal but sure works for me. Start recording inside Open Camera with USB mic unplugged, after recording stsrted, plug it in. When you are happy with your recording, unplug the mic and stop the recording.

Plugging in the USB mic after starting the recording works here too. If I have the USB mic plugged in when I start recording, it doesn't work (with 'may be corrupted' error and no file written). MotoG5+

On my Samsung Galaxy S6 running Android 7.0 and using a Zoom H2n, I found this works:
Go to Settings/Apps/Google/Permissions and turn off Microphone toggle.
After I've finished using Open Camera, I turn that Microphone permission for Google back on.
