There’s a glitch when I switch between the resolutions in “Camera Resolution” under the popup menu. When I switch, the camera can become stuck in the wrong resolution. For example, 2.76 MP has a ratio of 3:4, and 3.69 MP has a ratio of 9:16 and they’re located next to each other. Let’s say I switch to 2.76 MP from another resolution, and the camera passes through 3.69 MP as I press the arrow buttons. The camera preview can become stuck at 3.69 MP, although the final selection is 2.76 MP. This doesn’t happen all the time, but it does happen quite frequently. Also, I’m only using these two resolutions as an example but it happens for other resolutions as well, and the same thing happens – the camera preview is mismatched with the selected resolution.
It’s fortunate that I recognize that the ratio of 2.76 MP is 3:4 and not 9:16, so I know there is something wrong here. But if I’m an inexperienced photographer, I could end up using the wrong resolution without knowing it.
I use Camera2 API but even when I switch back to the Original Camera API, I still experience the problem. I also notice the transitioning between the resolutions is more stable in v1.50.1 and even previous versions, as I’d never experience any problems with this function before. Maybe you can look into your code, because whatever you changed in v1.51.1 introduced new errors, so now I’m forced to go back to v1.50.1
