Dear Mark,

I am trying to salvage a 'corrupted' video recording on my phone (Xiaomi 11
Ultra)

I pressed 'REC', and then later 'STOP', but the file never came up on the
Gallery
Then I checked the output folder for the the recording and it is listed as
".preview-VID-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.mp4" with a ZERO byte size!

So it seems that for whatever reason, the buffered video wasn't flushed to
a proper file!
I am currently trying to locate where the OpenCamera system folder is
located on my phone, but I can't find it either!
I was thinking of using something like untrunc or mp4fixer to try and
restore it
Is there a hidden folder that your app uses to store temp files? Or are
they only stored in the RAM?
My phone has 12GB of RAM and a nearly fresh installation, so it is very
unlikely I run out of RAM...
I have not restarted the phone, fearing that the video might somehow still
be in the buffer and lose it

Video file is really important, as it is from my holidays on a long trip
Please give me a hint where to look what to try

Regards,
Jason
