device freeze

    Hello mark,
    if i select video resolution "Full HD" with my "SGS2 Android 4.0.3 IceCreamSandwich" and start record, the device freeze.
    I have to disconnect the accu and restart the device.
    All other resolutions work well

      I'm not sure what's wrong here, but thanks for letting me know. Do you get any option to report details, or is the device entirely frozen? Do other camera apps work okay at that resolution?

    sorry, the device entirely freece after 2-5 sec i´v started "video record".
    After restart i see a file with 0KB on SDcard.
    With which alternative camera app can i test this HD resolution 1220x1080?

    If it is helpfull, i can write a logg with "alogrec"and send it per email to you

      "Camera ICS" is another camera app available on Google Play (based on the "stock" Google camera), which supports video with option for HD (1080p) resolution.

      Emailing me the output of aLogrec would be useful too please.

    With "Camera ICS" i have no problem to take a video in HD resolution

    Take a look in your email for Logrec

      Thanks for the info and log. Unfortunately I'm not sure what's going wrong (unfortunately the log cuts off mid-line, which is presumably due to the device freeze). I will try testing this on a Galaxy S2 via Samsung's remote test lab.
