Thanks for the bug report, I hope to have this fixed in the next version. (It occurs because some devices inconsistently say that they don't support "Full HD" even though they do support 1920x1080, but I can work around it so that all video resolutions should be offered.)
I'm not sure about the field of view - no idea :)

Just to say that this should now be fixed in 1.14 (available shortly) (i.e., without having to tick 4K recording). Please let me know if there are still missing resolutions.

Hi! v1.4 now enables 1280/720p, but the screen freezes, while the timer goes.
After stop recording, corrupt bitrate / frame support appears.
Bitrate and frame all variations are not setting a good.
Phone: Huawei Ascend Y300
Thx. best regards, Andras

Thanks for the info. Perhaps try with v1.15 of Open Camera - although this won't fix the problem, it should hopefully be better at noticing the error, and report the error straight away rather than the preview freezing.
Hard for me to fix without a device to test on, though I did recently fix a video recording bug for the Galaxy S2, maybe that will help here - this fix will be in v1.16.

Or do you mean you're working with the source code, and want to change the default? To change the default, in Preview.java/setupCameraParameters(), go to after "// default to highest quality" and change current_video_quality to something else (e.g., set to video_quality.size()-1 for lowest quality). Alternatively reverse the sort order in sortVideoSizes().

Can I ask u why video resolution is limited to 864x480 even my phone supports fullhd:
