    Hi,
I'm using Open Camera on my brand new Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro under MIUI 8 (based on Android 5.1.1). So far it works great (much better than the default MIUI camera), but there is one feature I'm really missing : the ability to record slow motion video (video + audio).

My Redmi Note 3 Pro should able to record slow motion video in the following resolutions :
    1080p @ 60 FPS,
    720p @ 60 FPS, 720p @ 120 FPS,
    480p @ 60 FPS, 480p @ 120 FPS

MIUI camera has a slow motion mode, which kinda works, but there aren't any settings, just "Slow motion ON/OFF" (so no fine control over the resolution and the fps). Plus the audio is not recorded in its slow motion mode.

I really hope Open Camera can do better than that in the near future. What do you think ? :)

Thanks in advance for your reply !

It's on my todo. Have some other priorities I'm working on first though (like HDR).

It's true that HDR would be awesome too. I'm glad that HDR and Slow motion are on your todo. Huge thanks for an amazing app ! :D

Is it ever gonna get implemented?

Agree. S7 can do it, but not with this App that I LOVE and would rather completely take over the stock Samsung apps

I just got Redmi Note 4 and I'd love to be able to use Open Camera to shoot 720p@120fps. Unfortunately I have to use the stock app to do it.

I tried to use slow motion today, but I didn't found this function.
    Open camera don't support this?

In the latest update log the app claims to have added slomotion support. The only problem is this is only for caamera2, which I and many more people don't have on their phone and will not get soon.
    This is a bummer.

Slow motion isn't possible on the original Android camera API I'm afraid - at least as far as I know (well, technically slow motion is possible, but high frame rates aren't, so you just get a jerky slow motion video).

I have a mi 9T, with 960fps , and camera 2 api level_3 enabled. but I can not capture slow motion videos with open camera..

it only offers a 240 fps (not 960 fps) and even the 240 fps, gives "camera halted" error

Any word on Slow motion that includes audio? Would be a HUGE benefit :)

I've Selected the "Camera2-API" in the settings and now see 0,25 or 0,5 speed, but unfortunately the camera crashes every time, even though slomo is supported on my device.

I know its kinda stupid, but that's my only reason I keep using the Samsung camera, so I really really hope it will work soon..
