I have a samsung galaxy S3 with kitkat 4.4. I set my storage path as the ext SD card and was unable to save my pictures. I see that I cannot store my pictures on my external SD card due to kitkat 4.4 restrictions.

The storage path was set as /storage/emulated/0/DCIM. I am unable to change it. I thought I might have set it that way so I uninstalled and re-installed open camera and the same path was there.

It is confusing but I think internal storage is /sdcard as opposed to /extsdcard, but, I can't seem to make a change to the path or find it by selecting parent folder.

How do I change the storage location to internal storage?

/storage/emulated/0/DCIM should be on the internal storage. You can change the save location under Settings/More camera controls/Save location - if for some reason that's not working, try Settings/Reset settings.

It has taken me awhile to get back to you. I have done reset the settings and the file storage is set to /storage/emulated/0/DCIM, but, when I try to save I get a failed to save message.

I used a file explorer and looked a the permissions and it was set for read/write.
