I'm using Open Camera for making workbench recordings. I want to use consistent focus, zoom, exposure etc so I can do multiple takes and edit them together without too much pain.
However, I'm finding that Open Camera keeps resetting the camera settings whenever it gets put into the background (and when the screen's turned off when it's not actually recording): zoom gets reset to 100%, exposure becomes variable, etc. (Although, interestingly, fixed focus remains set.)
Is there any way to make this not happen, so the settings are kept from one take to the next?
Thanks!

There isn't a way I'm afraid - at some point I should add some options to better control what gets saved or reset.
Unfortunately on Android there isn't a safe way to distinguish between "user temporarily paused and came back to application" and "application started again after three days" (unlike say PC applications there isn't the concept of opening an application from scratch, at least to the user). So settings like zoom don't get saved as users then get confused if they don't realise it's still zoomed in.
