Taken from my review: The app itself is great, but unfortunately it is not able to write the geo-coordinates into the image files on my Google Pixel 6 Pro (regardless of the CameraAPI used). On my OPPO FindX 2 Pro it works.
Thanks for the info - this is a known issue due to the Pixel 6 Pro not writing the information into the file. There is a workaround (at least for Camera2 API) so I hope this to be fixed in the next version of Open Camera.

I just took a picture with Open Camera on Pixel 6 Pro, and I can see latitude/longitude in the EXIF (using a third-party gallery app).
I guess the issue is fixed, or am I misunderstanding something? :-)
