I'm not sure why Open Camera isn't supported on Mi Pad - as in it doesn't show up on Google Play? Can you install via the APK at http://sourceforge.net/projects/opencamera/files/v_1_23/OpenCamera.apk/download ? Do other 3rd party camera apps work?
