No thumbnails with Open Camera 1.47.2 and other apps

A friendly hello in the round.
The Windows Explorer (Win10) shows me when accessing my external SD
or internal storage to see the pictures as in picture 1.

Where the thumbnails are to be seen, the images were taken with another app, Google Camera.
Where only the icon can be seen, Open Camera 1.47.2 was used.

When I look at the respective properties of the pictures I find a difference
The setting Resources is missing with the thumbnail view.

Does one of you have an explanation for that? Is it Open Camera?

I have been able to solve the "problem" by putting in over
Settings / Settings Manager / Reset Settings
the app in the basic settings have brought.
Something must I have adjusted there probably?
Now everything works as desired, even if I'm on the
external SD memory.

I wish there was a way to get the thumbnail automatically. I don't want to "reset settings". I want my chosen settings, of course.
