    Hello Mark,

Thank you for making Open Camera!

Open Camera does a great job at mitigating /flicker/. How does that work
    exactly?

I'm in the U.S. which has a standard electrical frequency of 60Hz. I'm
using 4' Barina T5 LED lights in a studio setting with my Samsung Galaxy
S23, primary camera. Using Open Camera and saving DNGs, the flicker is
mitigated most effectively. However, the problem I keep running into is
the Zoom, or magnification setting; e.g., 1.38x, the saved image is
always at a zoom mag. of 1x.

Using the native app that comes from Samung, Camera, Pro, I can save
DNGs with their zoom magnification unchanged, but the flicker remains no
matter how the ISO and shutter speeds are adjust; e.g., Auto ISO, manual
fixed 1/250; etc., see screenshot below as an example.

To be clear, the term /flicker/, in this context, appears as a linear
gradient running along the major axis, almost looking like a shadow, or
uneven lighting, when neither is in fact the case.

Any thoughts would be most welcome.

    Kind regards,

    Kelly

Thanks for the info. I'm not aware of anything I'm doing differently to
support flicker I'm afraid. The only possible related setting is
Settings/Processing settings/"Anti-banding", but that just sets an
option to the camera driver, rather than it being part of Open Camera's
    algorithms.

It's on my todo to support zoom for RAW images.
