I'm using AirServer to stream my Android screen to my PC. I don't want my phone to record. I just want it to activate the camera and display video for 2+ hours from a tripod. I will attempt to record on my PC rather than my phone. Can OpenCamera display full screen live images without any controls for this application? I set the phone to 30 minute screen timeout. Can OpenCamera disable the screen saver?

Do you have any other ideas to use my phone to capture video and send it to my PC? I tried a USB-C to HDMI adapter, but my Pixel XL doesn't support DMI out and I don't have an HDMI input on my PC.

Any thoughts on how to get OBS to capture the phone video off of the AirServer for Windows App? It does show my phone screen perfectly with great quality, but it shows a title bar and bottom bar with menus. I may be able to crop that out with OBS.

I capture sound from a mixing board directly into my PC, not my phone. I have a feeling there will be some AV delay sync issues. Any thoughts on correcting that? The only movement will be moving lips and a few hand expressions. It seems to be smooth enough video, but I'm worried about lip sync.

I tried using my phone as a IP webcam or security camera and getting the video on my PC. It works and I can see live video in VLC and OBS, but the quality is bad.

The best phone video quality I've seen so far is using AirServer on my PC and Chromecast to transmit my phone screen. The picture and lag seem good, but I have two problems. One is that my phone adds video recording icons to the screen. I want to find an app that removes those. Another is that AirServer isn't a video driver, it's an app. So I'll have to screen capture my PC app window into OBS, which adds another layer of conversion and lag.

    Any ideas are appreciated.
