Newbie here, so bear with me. I 've just got a new Nokia 7.1 (it's an AndroidOne phone actually). I 've installed Open Camera and enabled Camera2 API. I 've then noticed that Open Camera has a maximum ISO setting of 1600 whereas the stock camera app reportedly supports up to 3200. I expected to see the same value in Open Camera too (unless the stock camera app is doing something internally and reports an artificial ISO setting.
Same but to a far greater extent holds true for shutter speed. Stock Camera reports values:
whereas Open Camera has a max of 0.4 secs. I am failing to get easily a list of the possible values on this one using the slider (is there another way?) I 've seen some values like 0.3secs and 1/900 secs show up.
Thanks for bearing with me and many many thanks for writing this wonderful app

I 've also installed Camera FV-5 lite and I see a list of shutter speed there. That one is becoming funny. I see now values I don't see in the stock camera app like 1/5, 1/6, 1/11, 1/20, 1/25, 1/400 up to 1/8000. Are the shutter speeds of a continuous nature and not of a discrete nature?

The shutter speeds (and ISO) are indeed continuous (from a "min" to "max") rather than a discrete set of values.
The min/max ISO and shutter speeds are supplied by the camera driver, so it may be that it's reporting lower maximums to third party applications, compared to what the stock camera can access.
