Help / Feature request : changing settings from Tasker

Hi!

I'm using Open Camera at work everyday and I'm very satisfied.

I need to sort photos by categories using different custom text and file prefix.
So I use Tasker and several buttons, one per category, to change settings.
But for now, to change text stamp and file prefix I have to kill Open Camera, modify preferences file using sed 😱 then launch Open Camera again.

It would be very useful (for me) if it was possible to change settings using intents or a Tasker plugin with no need to kill the app if it's alrealdy running nor modify an XML file with sed.

Ability to change a lot of settings using profiles would be an interesting feature too.

Hi Ed,
I'm using Open Camera with Voice Control. But after recording video, the option is desabled. Do you know if is possible to reactiveate the audio control using tasker?
