These are likely quad bayer formats. Whilst Open Camera doesn't yet support these, this also requires the device to expose quad bayer to third party camera applications, and my Galaxy S24+ at least doesn't seem to support this yet.
Also remember that "more megapixels" doesn't necessarily mean better quality - you're still getting the benefit of the camera's quality.

On the Samsung Galaxy A53 the main camera seems to go up to 16MP in Open Camera while the stock camera app allows 64MP. Any ideas?
