Is this a physical menu button? Open Camera doesn't make use of that button - Google's recommendation now is that the physical menu button should be deprecated ( http://android-developers.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/say-goodbye-to-menu-button.html ) . The Settings in Open Camera are available by pressing the icon at the bottom-right of the screen (as shown in the screenshot):

I'm not sure about point number 2 - if I go to Settings, Apps, Open Camera, I can see the version of Open Camera displayed at the top, but this is on a Nexus device, other versions of Android (e.g., Samsung Touchwiz, HTC Sense) may have different user interfaces.

By settings I mean in your Android settings, rather than Open Camera settings. Though as I say, this may be different in different versions of Android - I don't have a Samsung "Touchwiz" phone to check on.

Is there a way that you can see the version number of other apps on your phone? The version for Open Camera should be displayed there in the same way.

of course, you are right,i can see the version number in the android settings, i missunderstood your first answer, sorry ;-))
It would be more comfortable to see the version in a additional section "about" in open camera settings.
