I'm oriented for a new Samsung S20+ plus purchase but would like to continue to use Open camera app because is several time better than Samsung own camera app and other apps on the playstore.
I would like to use OPEN CAMERA not only on the main camera but also with the ultrawide angle and tele sensors of the S20+
Anyone have tried these possibilities? In case also with other devices like Samsung S20 ultra, Xiaomi mi note 10,One plus 8 pro or Huawei P40 pro
Thanks

I think the S20+ should show the ultra-wide camera in Open Camera (but see my follow up reply below), but the telephoto camera isn't made available for third party applications. In Open Camera you should see an icon (camera with a +) to cycle through the cameras?
[Note that the S20 series also show a camera that Open Camera will say it failed to open (it's the "depth camera", it's on my TODO to fix this so we don't try to access this).]

Ah sorry - I read this that you already have the device. If you don't, please wait for other replies before spending the money :) As I've only tested via Samsung's remote test lab, and I can't remember if it was the S20+ specifically.

Thank you Mark. I have a Samsung note 9 and with it I see only the rear (main) wide angle camera and the front camera. I am so satisfied about OPEN CAMERA APP that my choice for the next smartphone take into consideration the possibility to use OPEN CAMERA with all the camera installed.
It would be useful to create a database in which OPEN CAMERA abitual user write which camera works on which model. Unfortunately I do not have access to test smartphones except my Samsung note 9 but I am glad to help in this way to support this.I have already posted some images as example in comparison to other apps and camera system in my flickr account. The possibility opened by your app to shot in available light with a smartphone are fantastic! Just one question...If I use NR option in very low light the app produce 1500x2000 pixel image. Is it possible to force it to produce the standard 3000x4000 image? Thanks again for your precious support and for the fantastic OPEN CAMERA. https://flic.kr/p/2j1F3vx
I have collected some info at https://opencamera.org.uk/devices.html . But asking for people to test on some Android forum is probably best way to get feedback.
Note that for low light, the camera still uses the full resolution, but it's then downscaled so that each resultant pixel is formed from 4 pixels each the original image. Potentially I may add an option in future to preserve the original resolution (although this will make it slower).

Please do it, give the option to switch for the full resolution even in low light.
Thank you very much.

You may get better responses on some general Android forums, e.g., https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s20 or somewhere on Reddit etc.
