Nowadays pictures are often shown on TV/monitor. Hence "Portrait mode" looks very strange on this devices. Nevertheless for landscape 16:9 is great ... so I often have to switch. At current state this is rather difficult to manage.
My wish would be either an automatic format depending on screen orientation (or maybe more generic 2 tiles to select).
It settings it shows resolution, but it needs some exercise to know what format it finally is. Maybe it helps to show it by a rough calculation).

Thanks for this great app, not forget to mention that. Also the help is very good. Notice: VibranceHDR link doesn't work any longer in Playstore. Found it here instead: https://appsplayground.com/apk/uk.org.opencamera.vibrancehdr/

Open Camera should produce photos in portrait or landscape depending on the orientation of your phone - so I'm not sure why this isn't happening for you.

I wasn't sure what you mean by format?

It's on my TODO to release Vibrance HDR as open source outside of Google, but still not got round to it :)

Sorry, my bad, I didn't explained it well.
I would like to take landscape photos in 16:9 (as it looks great) but portrait it 4:3. Usually I watch / show pictures on PC/TV - and these can't be rotated. (The orientation itself is stored and wokrs well, that isn't the problem). But have you ever looked at a 16:9 portrait picture on a 16:9 landscape TV? That looks odd, guess 4/5 is just black stripes.

So my wish would be: Either a icon where I can switch between two favorite resolutions or even better a setting for resolution that depends on orientation.

resolution <-> format : I see 4032:2268 - that is format 16:9 (maybe wrong usage of this word) - who can see that right by this numbers?
    Usual formats are 1:1, 3:2, 4:3 or 16:9 (others I haven't seen)
So my suggestion is to show instead of "3032x2268 (9.14MP)" better "9.14MP (16:9)".
This is for me more important than the exact number of pixels.

Maybe I should open an own topic for this: Nowadays screens are bigger. Wouldn't it be possible to show the full setting (when open the 3 dot menu), so that there is no scrolling needed aperture/Timer ....) Or it might be even configurable what to select there.

But, hey, your app is already on a very high an multioptinal level .... so its hard to argue.
All that is just my personal opinion and maybe you think that is not or interest for others. But I would give it a try.
