I currently use an external microphone when recording video and is great. The only thing is it needs quite the boost in post, and while 96 kbit/s AAC is fine for final compression, it's not brilliant when getting edited. The Nokia camera app records 256 kbit/s , so it must be possible to change it. Ideally a lossless codec would be ideal, however I'm not sure if Android allows such. The ability to choose bitrate would be awesome, as even 256 kbit/s AAC would be a considerable bump in audio resolution when it comes to editing. Thanks Mark for your work on this app. It's turned the pictures from my phone from oversharpened messes to something I'd expect from an old DSLR and records better video than my 2015 DLSR. Looking forward to what you do next!
