I know I can use the app shortcut (also creating an icon on the start
screen) or use a quick settings tile, but I would like to open the app when
double pressing the Power button.
This may require the phone to be unlocked with Android 11, but I at least
have the fingerprint sensor in the power button.
I would also like to disable HDR in this situation.
The use case is to take pictures when running. My Sony has a dedicated
camera button, but the default app also opens with back cameras and that
cannot be changed.
Not important to the world, but a way to keep in contacts with mates abroad.
It may be possible to use Tasker secondary" to start an intent with the
selfie. (I guess I have to check the code to find this and create a private
branch if there is no other solution...)

Looks like this has been implemented, try a long press on the app.
