Thanks for the suggestion, OIS is on my TODO for a future version. Was that what you mean regarding HedgeCam, or was there something else in particular?

On S7 edge (Exynos) when the video recording starts, the HedgeCam application freezes)) And the author of HedgeCam has not been able to fix this bug yet. However, in HedgeCam, OIS is present in the filter settings and can be enabled.
Open Camera on S7 writes video normally, nothing hangs, but there is no OIS - the picture is shaking, shaking. I found out which version of OpenCamera fixed the video recording freeze bug on S7 edge with cam2api. This is version 1.44. Since version 1.43.3 is the last one where the video recording in cam2api is still hanging. But even this information did not help the author of HedgeCam and his assistants to find and fix the bug. Because, as they say, the HedgeCam code and the OpenCamera code have become very different from each other over time))
Regarding the enrichment of the OpenCamera functionality. I meant: open HedgeCam and see what ideas, functions, settings you can pick up, borrow to transfer them directly to OpenCamera!
Because everyone considers the rich functionality of settings to be the key advantage of HedgeCam. The disadvantage of HedgeCam is that the application does not keep up with time, it is slowly progressing in terms of fixing bugs in the code.
Porting functions, settings, and ideas will give OpenCamera rapid progress! Because OpenCamera will be replenished with the key advantages of HedgeCam. OpenCamera will thus absorb, absorb, and complete itself with HedgeCam trumps.

"Because everyone considers the rich functionality of settings to be the key advantage of HedgeCam." - I mean, it's useful to know which of those specifically people are after, and not simply because another application added them? Otherwise it risks cluttering the Settings menu if there's little demand.

Hello, Mark!
When cam2api is enabled, there is no OIS setting (Samsung S7 edge).
And also pay attention to other features that can be borrowed from the
HedgeCam application.
Do not hesitate, just take ideas, settings, functions from HedgeCam and add
them to the functionality of Open Camera ;))
