Please add an option to set input level of external MIC. Im shooting videos using Open Camera with an external MIC connected via OTG. Works great except the input level is set too high and is picking up tons of hiss / white noise from my mic. Please consider adding such a feature!

i agree. WHile this feature is available while recording, having the option to display input metering before recording would be hugely useful.

How is this not a feature yet? External mics have many variety of sensitivity, many of them are very popular like "boya" but "loud" and rich with ambient sounds, sometimes we hear some undesired sounds like fan, humming etc. Having the ability to reduce some db would be much appreciated.
