My specific use case is close ups of small items, typically requiring bracketing of less than 15mm front to back - which is pretty impossible using the sliders with the existing scale resolution. The feature I would really appreciate therefore is a 'Range' tool in the settings that gives the on screen sliders a max and min top end and bottom end.
For example. My item may be 15cm away from the lens. It is only 10mm front to back. I would therefore like to be able to set the range scale of the first bracket slider to be limited to between say 10cm to 30cm and then the second slider range for the back bracket to be limited to say 1mm to 30mm. I do appreciate that this is equally a request for change of mode (to Range + Delta) so to be clear, I don't mean to imply my request replaces the current workings. I would like this as an alternative method.
