multiple camera button could activate something like a drop-down menu list for choosing camera...

This is probably something in between reporting a problem and a feature suggestion: I have a problem with the multiple-camera button that I'll describe in detail below... to fix it, it would be enough for me that the multiple-camera button activate something like a drop-down menu (showing a list of camera IDs/descriptions) to give the possibility to choose freely one among all the available cameras. In my opinion it could also be a more practical way to choose the camera.

I'm going to explain in detail the problem from which this need of mine arises: a few days ago I purchased a OnePlus 7T, putting a LineageOS 20 on it. Open Camera works great with the main camera using the Camera2 API... the phone has 3 rear cameras and 1 front but seems to expose 6 IDs instead:

    ID:0 main rear camera
    ID:1 front camera
    ID:2 telephoto rear camera
    ID:3 ultra-wide rear camera
ID:4 seems to use again the telephoto rear camera (don't know if it's different in some way from ID:2)
ID:5 seems to use again the ultra-wide rear camera (don't know if it's different in some way from ID:3)

but this is not the problem... the problem is that with the Camera2 API the ID:5 doesn't work and causes the Open Camera preview screen to freeze displaying a serious camera error and the multiple-camera button suddenly disappears... with the Camera1 API it's the ID:4 that doesn't work... what I have to do then to unfreeze is press the button that switches to the front camera and press it again to return to ID:0. The whole thing is quite inconvenient because to switch for example from ID:3 and ID:0 I have to go through all the others and an error that needs some time to recover, moreover ID:4 and ID:5 seems of no use at all to me...

I understand that to have three buttons, one per camera, like for example the lineage camera app or the stock camera app, for a software like Open Camera would probably not be viable, since it has to deal with many phone models. However, a drop-down menu activated by the multiple-camera button (or even by the front/back camera switch when I choose not to activate the multiple-camera button) that allows to choose between all the IDs could be a simple, practical and convenient way to choose the camera and would also solve problems similar to mine, by being able to choose only the working cameras.

I've done a quick search on the forum and it seems that no one has reported a similar problem/feature suggestion so I apologize in the case there was instead something similar and I missed it...

I've been using Open Camera for many years so thanks for your time and your great work...

just discovered FreeDCam thanks to this forum... it's an example of what I was talking about... it also freezes with the ID:5 and I even have to kill it to recover but its camera switch button is simple, convenient and effective and it allows me to avoid it.... I would like something similar on Open Camera that I really love and remains the best for me... in my opinion a single button as in FreeDCam would be enough for all front and rear cameras... I would instead improve the information shown... it would be perfect to have for example only ID and zoom ratio to understand at a glance which camera it is..

Regarding this feature, it would be great if we could hide selected cameras. Maybe if we could even name them, as some of them are just called rear: ID:0
