Please revert the recent change to the "Take Photo" icon

The "Take Photo" icon previously displayed which mode (still photo or video) the camera was using. Now it instead displays a simple circle button and, next to it, is an icon displaying whichever mode you are not currently using. This is a terrible UI change and is already causing me a headache. Please revert this change.
I agree, this is especially problematic for less tech-savvy users. My mother has had lots of trouble with this change and has been constantly taking videos instead of photos by accident (& vice versa) ever since that change.
I completely agree. Non-tech-savvy users may now struggle to take photos because they are confused as to which mode they are in. The old icon was a camera, now it is just a blue icon.
When they are in photo mode, they think they are in video mode because they see the video icon next to the blue icon.
I had to downgrade my mother's phone to 1.52 because she was accidentally taking videos instead of photos.
Please just revert to trigger icons diplaying the current mode.
Making any UI more confusing in exchange of nothing might actually qualify as a bug.

While i am quite tech savvy, i keep making videos when intending to make a picture, often losing the opportunity. please put the icon back on the button.
