I tried to use OpenCamera to capture the Blood Red Super Moon Eclipse (whatever the actual name is) and the autofocus did not. I could see the program focus, then it would unfocus and capture an image.
I have noticed this before in recent OpenCamera releases on different devices; where the autofocus gets the scene in focus and then unfocuses before capturing the image.
Very Frustrating.
If the image I attached makes it to the forum, the out of focus capture can be seen. The trippy part is that I was able to see that the moon was in focus just before the image was captured.
I seem to recall that at one point I could tap the display and OpenCamera would focus on whatever was in that region. It worked well.
If you could bring this back in spite of google's attempts to NotDo, that would be fantastic.
This was using an LG G8 (LM-G820TM) running Android 10 (Kernel 4.14.117, build QKQ1.190929.002).
make the icons on the screen turn on and off at the touch of a physical button, say the increase volume button.
And turned on when you click on it again.
Why is this necessary?
Because with fine artistic aiming, all these icons interfere with the perception of the frame.

I would like to be able to set the focus with the slider.
I would like to create a manual mode, where
The left side of the screen will be the exposure and the right side of the screen will be the focus.
Swipe up and down to adjust.
To prevent malfunctions.
To prevent malfunction, the adjustment is enabled when the swipe amount is more than half of the screen resolution.
While adjusting the focus, the opposite side of the screen (the left side of the screen when adjusting the focus on the right side) will be exposed and the focus icon will display the numerical value.
The value you are setting is shown as a small number in the upper right corner of the screen.
