This app is great but I find it difficult to distinguish between the icons on my small screen. The most difficult to see is GPS lock.
Would it be possible to have them change colour, this would make it much easier to instantly see the mode.
For example, the GPS icon when waiting for a location fix could be red and the icon for when it has a fix could be green. It would then be very easy to see when it has acquired the location. At the moment both icons are white and look similar so when your are waiting it is not obvious when it has changed.
Similarly the flash icon colours could change, something like red for no flash, green for manual flash, yellow for auto.
This simple change would make it much more user friendly for people with small devices or need reading glasses.

That's a great idea. I can't see the difference between the icons without reading glass. Changing the colour would make it much easier to distinguish between.

Ok, I though I would have ago myself to implement this. I looked in the apk file, found 3-.png which appears to be the icon when there is no GPS fix, I used Gimp to edit this (red line through it), put it back in the apk, resigned it with Zipsigner and it works, more noticeable when there isn't a GPS location. Tried to do the same with the icon for when there is a GPS location but it didn't work. I found several images I thought were the icon, 1p,7p,Jm,V1.png but changing them didn't work. I don't know why, must be another icon file somewhere. Whilst experimenting with this I noticed there is a dot which shows how good the GPS location is, great feature but so small it is impossible to see without a magnifying glass. Anyone know how to change to other icon?
