I checked on some paid applications and their audio meter is really great. And it is stereo (for some phones that supports stereo recording).
I was wondering if you could change the mono audio level meter (Open Camera has), to a stereo one...

I never knew that Open Camera has Audio Level meter. Where is it? Where to find? Does it show recorded audio levels?
Since audio recording on mobile phones is possible on a single channel (whether through inbuilt mic or an external mic) only one channel audio lever metering is enough.

Press Settings.
Press "Camera Preview"
Scroll down. The eleventh element that can be ticked says "Show Audio Level Meter".
I disagree for the one channel of the recording. As I first said, on some paid applications (you can check it with trial versions), the capture of audio is stereo.
