Hi. First I want to thank the software authors and contributors for this great app which enables more control over the smartphone's camera. Currently I own a Xiaomi POCO X3 Pro, it has 1080p slow motion (aka high FPS) modes with 120 and 240FPS. The 120FPS mode is pretty much usable for nice footage. In these modes OpenCamera can only adjust the exposure compensation or lock it, adjusting ISO and/or shutter speed not possible (probably due to API limitations). I prefer to set the shutter speed for video twice the frame rate (e.g. for 60FPS I set 1/120s, for 120FPS I would like to set 1/250s) to get the cinematic effect with the characteristic slight motion blur. The thing is that in lower light condition the phone keeps the shutter speed slightly over the frame rate (e.g. 1/127-130s when shooting @ 120FPS) and the footage looks too smooth and cheap. However I did some experiments with other app called FreeDCam, it didn't have slow motion support however it's video profiles were quite editable, so I edited the 1080p 30FPS profile and set 120FPS and voila it started to shoot 120FPS slow motion. Then I tried to change the shutter speed in manual control and it worked! I got that cinematic look. Despite some additional manual controls the video support in FreeDCam is quite poor, OpenCamera is more usable. I would like to have a "Pro" or "Hacker" mode in OpenCamera where shutter speed or other manual controls would be available anyway (on users's own risk) or the ability to edit a video profile to activate undocumented or hidden camera API options and features.

I do not understand how one could get (at fixed fps) slight motion blur by shortening the exposure time. But the app you mention has full network access, perhaps it is fetching some blur from the internet.
