i am sometimes trying to make a video and i would like to set the Shutter/Exposure manually to 1/25 or 1/30 or anything and have the iso on auto to handle everything themself, but thats not possible currently.
Currently its just Auto everything or manual everything.
Hi, manual exposure with auto ISO is something that Google document isn't supported (so even if it works on some devices, it may not on others). It looks like support for this is coming in Android 16 ( https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2025/02/second-beta-android16.html ) so it's on my TODO to look at this.

There are apps out there like https://www.filmicpro.com/ but my guess is that they simply develop individual solutions for each devices because they have money?

I was also wondering if I can limit the shutter speed somehow to a maximum value, like 1/60s, anything longer than that is a challenge to hold still and thus results in blurrier images. Manual mode works, but that's not what I am looking for, I don't want to set both shutter speed and ISO every time, the idea is to have a MAX shutter speed, and ISO should compensate if that's not sufficient for the light conditions. I think we are talking about almost the same thing. Currently Open camera tends to go down to 1/15s, which is too long imho..

Hello,
My smartphone is Samsung A14 model. I installed the 'Open Camera' app, but when I put to use the ISO manually the values of ISO and Shutter are: ISO: 40 and Shutter: 1/33333, and do not respond to the movements of the slides, thus leaving the image dark (How to solve?). But the app is good.
Thanks
Jairus

Some people in the other thread similar to this https://sourceforge.net/p/opencamera/discussion/general/thread/fa070a57/?limit=25 mentioned other apps that are capable of said feature.
As the other thread is quite old, maybe its now possible.
I'm using a Google Pixel 9 Pro, if i'm able to help somehow, i'll try my best :)
