I was wondering if you could add an option to completely disable noise reduction?
It's the one thing that I keep going to a different camera app for, despite thinking OpenCam has better quality in general, but the noise reduction is fairly heavy.
I know it can be possible since the other camera apps I've used have the option, but they also aren't updating any longer and so don't have features that your app does (e.g. DRO).
Thanks.

Also, I remembered the other camera that let me turn it off -- FreeDCam.
I have to run it's "Feature Detector" and many options for my camera become available to use in the options, including disabling denoise completely.

This is possible if Settings/"Camera API" is set to Camera2. Then see Settings/Processing options/"Noise reduction algorithm".
Thanks for the reply.
I have a Keyone which doesn't support Camera2 API but other camera apps are still able to disable it without having it enabled.
I can't enabled Camera2 API with Open Camera as the option isn't shown.
Can I clarify, which third party camera applications have this option?
I currently use Snap Camera HDR, despite it being old it's one of the only ones where i can disable it.

I tried to take some comparison photos but imgur compresses the images enough to remove the difference. It does work and makes a huge difference.
Just realised there was a way to attach files.
These were taken at 100% zoom to show the difference.
This was with NR off. The above is with NR on.
Sorry about the multiple posts, i didn't realise it didn't attach both images.

I don't know if it would help, but I can also send you the "full" featureset for my camera?
e.g. hdr-mode=xxx, rdi-mode=xxx
I was wondering if this is a feature that will be implemented?
