I'm hoping for a feature that would set the brightness of the display fully OFF (or dimmed to very very minimum) at the start of the session, and at the end of the session whod return the previous level of brightness.

Perhaps so that after the shooting/recording has been started, a wipe downwards on the display would activate the OFF/dimming state, and at the end of the session just a tap (or wiping upwards) on the display would return the brightness to the same level it was before.

Reasons:
1) During lengthy sessions (video or photos) the battery charge is consumed ,horribly. .Also, un-needed power to the display will wear out the display a little.
2) The brightness slider in the notification shade of Android does not dim the display to the absolute minimum, not to mention to OFF. That slider is annoying to use, at start of the session: Wipe the shade into view, wipe the slider to left. At the end of the session: Try to wipe the slider back to how it was, wipe the shade away.
3) Powerbanks are not always available, sometimes they are - but without charge. The USB cable plus the bank adds to the trouble quite a lot, often it is already difficult enough to fix the device alone (using suction cup or magnetic holder -stand).
