I have a Pixel 2, which uses a dual-pixel (I don't mean dual lens) sensor. Every one of the 12M pixels is actually a pair, and the usual thing is to add them together for an image and use them separately for focus. But I'd like to process the really-raw data with the half-pixels separate. I've seen people do this with a Pixel 4, but don't know what software was used.
Can Open Camera be teased into providing the 24M really-raw hal-pixels?
