    I really appreciate that Open Camera lets you use the wide angle lens, but the telephoto lens isn't an option right

    Unfortunately this is down to the device itself, it suggests Samsung have only made the wide angle lens available to third party applications, and not the telephoto lens.

    Is this also valid for custom ROMs as LineageOS? Do they have access to Tele lens?
    Edit: Yes, access to all cams is possible!

    Suggestion: Would be great to have a (single) zoom, automaticall select the right lens.
    So starting from 0.7 ..... 8 using <1.0 Wide, >=2 Tele

    A quick search brought me here:
    https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/gcam-working-with-snapdragon-s10-note10-s20-note20-telephoto.4200277/post-84070875

    Samsung whitelisted these package names for the telephoto access:
    com.sec.android.app.camera
    com.sec.factory.camera
    com.sec.android.app.camera.shootingmode.social
    com.sec.factory.cameralyzer
    com.samsung.android.bio.face.service
    com.samsung.android.biometrics.service
    com.samsung.android.server.iris
    com.samsung.android.aremoji
    com.samsung.android.ruler
    com.samsung.android.scan3d

    Most GCam mods for Samsung either have com.samsung.android.ruler or com.samsung.android.scan3d as package name to circumevent the restriction because those apps are not system ones. I wonder if the telephoto lens will be discovered if a custom Open Camera apk will be build with either of those package names.
