Hi everyone - this is actually a question that might turn into a feature suggestion:
I'm teaching video production/video journalism at a Berlin vocational training academy. I've been recommending Open Camera as a good (and free) tool for aspiring video journalists.
One important feature for professional us of a camera, however, is to monitor the audio via headphone while recording. So here's the question:
Is there a way to set up Open Camera on Android to output audio to the headphone while recoring video? (Technically, it can be done: in Filmic Pro, this is a standard feature which works just fine). Did I miss something?
If not, this would be a highly desirable feature!
Thanks and all the best from Berlin, Germany
Chris

I agree this would be highly desirable, though I have only just discovered that after years of using Open Camera! I videoed, using the phone's built-in app, a nearby robin singing sweetly, but the sound was ruined by wind noise. But it seems neither that app nor Open Camera can monitor sound and thus enable me to investigate an acoustic fix for the wind noise.
