There's dust somewhere on a lens or other optical element inside my device. I cannot wipe it off.
This leads to multiple small regions of the photos that are blurred, which in itself is not that much of an issue.

The issue is: often times, OpenCamera will try to focus on these areas which leads to actual objects that are further away not being sharp. Sometimes it will be OpenCamera's choice to focus on them, other times I inadvertently tap on the screen (to choose focus area) at a location that corresponds to such a dust particle.

It'd be awesome to have a feature that lets me specify multiple regions of the picture/sensor that will then be excluded from determining focus. Could be circles or rectangles for example.
Whenever OpenCamera's own focus method tries to focus, it should then ignore such region and choose some other point near but outside the region. Whenever I manually tap to focus on such a region, some other point as close as possible to but outside the regions should be focused on.

I know, not many people would need such a feature.

But it'd greatly help to regain some if not most of the photo quality that was there before. Right now, many photos are a bit off focus which is a bummer.
In a way it would enable me to keep my current device a bit longer.
