Version 1.46

Version 1.46 is released!

If Settings/"Use Camera2 API" is enabled, the following features are now available:

  • New options under Settings/"Camera preview" for on-screen histogram, zebra stripes (shows over-exposed regions), focus peaking (indicates in-focus edges, useful for manual focus).
  • RAW/DNG is now enabled on higher end devices for expo bracketing and focus bracketing photo modes, as well as HDR when saving the base expo images. Use the new options Settings/Photo settings/"Allow RAW for expo bracketing" and "Allow RAW for focus bracketing" if you want to enable RAW for standard photo mode, but not for expo/focus bracketing modes.

The default UI layout for new users is now "icons along top" (see Settings/On screen GUI/"UI placement"). New optional on-screen icons have been added (under Settings/"On screen GUI"): geotagging, flash, RAW. And some options from "Settings/On screen GUI" have now moved to the new "Camera preview" page.

Added support for the Kraken Smart Housing (thanks to Edouard Lafargue), see Settings/More camera controls/"Bluetooth LE remote control". Also bluetooth/USB keyboards can now be used for some remote control (see the online help under "Remote control" for details).

New option Settings/Photo settings/"Use addresses" to display GPS coordinates in the form of an address (for photo stamp and video subtitles).

Added some more common manual shutter speeds (1/10 to 1/50 now changes in steps of 1/5).

And various other improvements and bug fixes (including minor improvement for DRO algorithm; "NR mode" for Noise Reduction photo mode is now saved; fixed toasts with seekbars on Android 9, and improvements when using Storage Access Framework).
