Version 1.43.3

Version 1.43.3 is released!

New Camera2 API features:

  • Fast burst photo mode. The existing burst option is now renamed to "repeat" (note, some translations may still refer to "burst").
  • Improved support for setting video frame rates (thanks to George Joseph).
  • Slow motion video (might not work on everything - works on my Nokia 8, not my OnePlus 3T).
  • Option to save only in RAW/DNG format (requires Android 7).

Other new features:

  • Time lapse video (requires Android 5).
  • Torch option for front cameras without flash, which lights up the screen.
  • New options under "Photo settings" to support Artist and/or Copyright Exif tags in images (requires Android 7).

Misc:

  • Fixed crash when sharing images (if not using Storage Access Framework) on some Android 7+ devices.
  • Fixed face detection mode on Camera2 API, wasn't affecting resultant exposure etc.
  • Fixed bug with video subtitles (.SRT) option, overlapping subtitles could appear briefly when pausing/resuming video.
  • User interface improvements.
  • Datestamp format (for "Stamp photos" option) yyyy/mm/dd replaced with yyyy-mm-dd (to match ISO 8601 standard).
  • Video frame rate preference is now stored per-camera (as with video resolution).
  • Various other crash and bug fixes.

Hi, my Samsung Galaxy S9+ has two camera lenses, one of which is a 2X telephoto lens. The stock camera app does not seem to allow it being selected in the pro mode, and only very randomly in other auto modes (in jpeg). I was wondering if you could please add a feature to be able to select this second camera lens in Open Camera? I wouldn't mind paying extra for that feature. Thanks!

Hi,I was wondering if you could please display Pitch Angle in ui, not only pitch lines.
It will be helpful to geo measure with camera, if you could add cross target/pitch angle, together with GeoDirection, when save picture.
