Why do handsets differ, am I being naive? I'm hopefully getting a subsidy code for a moto v3 that's in my drawer. And I'm after others for testing, but i still don't understand why it matters what the ME is. Is it the wbx or is it the clock at 64 not 52 or do I need rfx900's or is it simply openbts Surely gsm is gsm, as i said before whatever I need to do to assist im happy to do. dave On 14 Aug 2010, at 23:34, "hanwen" <kid...@gm...<mailto:kid...@gm...>> wrote: Hi, As Ahmed and Aireno suggested, Nokia phone is not a good idea for testing OpenBTS with WBX but HTC phone instead. My experience is not using S60 phones which is not easy to remove SIM. I successfully registered a S40 phone (the model I'm not quite sure). A SIM of foreign operator is used and the phone can see the network only when the SIM and battery is just installed. After a while, it can only see some local operators. I'll try some HTC phone later on.
