[Openbts-discuss] OpenBTS / Transceiver problem

Hi,

I have successfuly install openBTS on archlinux and solve some problem
hardware but I still have an error

I start asterisk
I run ./transceiver  in a shell
and ./OpenBTS850 in other.
The prog run during 5-10s and I have a segfault on the transceiver

1246294624.485098 3082378096: radioInterface.cpp:336 transmitFIFO: read
radio vector at time: 7:606
1246294624.485109 3082111856: increment!!!
Erreur de segmentation

someone know the reason of this crash?

Louis -

This sounds like a bug from a very old version. What version are you  
using?

You should have 2.4 from the SFTP server.

I am seeing the same behavior. I am using the gnuradio distribution of
openbts (the trunk), and followed the instructions from
http://gnuradio.org/trac/wiki/OpenBTS/BuildingAndRunning

I will give it a try as well. How can we reach it?

This is probably a FAQ and OT, but this is the first mention I have seen
of the sftp server. I have been trying to browse the list's archives to
perhaps get some info, but the link takes me to a sf.net page that asks
me to login and denies me access to the archives. Do I need to be
included into the project team?

Sorry to be a nuisance with these newcomer questions, but none of the
kestrelsp.com page or the gnuradio o give these kind of information...

I use the svn link...
I try with the version NoiseBridge (you have send me one) I don't have the
error
Now when I launch asterisk , the transceiver and openBTS  (on root) I have a
busy usb..

usrp_open_interface:usb_claim_interface: failed interface 2
could not claim interface 2: Device or resource busy
usrp_basic_rx: can't open rx interface
usrp_open_interface:usb_claim_interface: failed interface 1
could not claim interface 1: Device or resource busy
usrp_basic_tx: can't open tx interface

Hi

apparently the new ./OpenBTS run the transceiver so I don't need to start it
before

My nokia 3310 don't see the GSM network.
I put his IMEI on the .conf
shall I do something else?
