Appreciate your comments

So, to make the coverage be extended to for example 50m, I will need a special daughterboard right?(and if I am not wrong ettus only has RFX900 and RFX1200 with 200mW, which does not change the coverage much)

In the CLI of OpenBTS the power is represented in dB - not dBm. Are they meant to be the same?

Also, the rxgain command in the CLI can only set power levels between 0 and 38dB. Surely, the value can also be set by config command but, why does rxgain sets values in only that range?

Thank you

Probably just 10-20 meters.  The main thing limiting your range will be uplink/downlink isolation.  You'll probably get better range by turned *down* the power to something like 5-10 mW.

For OpenBTS with standard usrp equiment, what is the maximum coverage radius outdoors and indoors with maximum power settings?

I am using usrp n210 with SBX
