About OpenBioGeoSim

OpenBioGeoSim it's a software in the making that simulates the stochastic origin and spread of species geographic ranges in a heterogeneous landscape. It's based on Gary Entsminger's BioGeoSim (http://garyentsminger.com) with added functionalities like cross-platform, multi-threading and Free Software License (GPLv3).

OpenBioGeoSim is being develop under Java by Fernando Rodriguez Catón in the Centro Científico Tecnológico (CCT), Technology Scientific Center under CONICET Mendoza, Argentina.
