Hi David, This is Yuefei. I have read related descriptions about the Gutenberg books and downloaded= its=20 code as well. Currently, when a user launches the openberg and tries to open a book, he= has=20 three choices: from a file, from the net and from the library. From my understanding wha= t I=20 need to do is to add a filter such that when the user wants to open a=20 Gutenberg (e.g. xxx.txt) from anyone of the three sources and the filter = would=20 convert the book (xxx.txt) to the html format (xxx.html) and present it.=20 This filter can be a subclass derived from BookWithCache. Is that right? I have some questions: 1) do you have some model like OOA or OOD model which gives more infor ab= out=20 how each module interacts with one another and how their methods are call= ed,=20 besides the outline diagram on the web? 2) for the scenario for opening a book if the Gutenberg filter were to be= =20 implemented, I guess it might be like this: when a user opens a book, if = the=20 extension is "opf", its related methods would be called, which have been=20 implemented, if the extension is "txt", the Gutenberg filter would be cal= led,=20 it then would analyze whether the file matches the Gutenberg format, if i= t=20 does, the filter would continue, otherwise it would show some err message= s. Am=20 I right? Thank you very much Yuefei >=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D Original Message From David Teller <David.Teller@ens-lyo= n.org> =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D >Well, opening Gutenberg books would surely be the single most useful >feature of Milestone 2, so you're quite welcome to implement this. > >Do you already have a clear idea on how to do this ?
