I should point out that while I won't personally be there, Chris  
Morley and Noel O'Boyle will be talking about Open Babel. (I assume  
Noel will also talk about cclib and GaussSum). Donald Curtis and  
Marcus Hanwell will talk about Avogadro and overlap with Open Babel.

The meeting should be an excellent way to learn what kinds of things  
Open Babel can do as a toolkit and get your hands on some code.
