OpenB2B is a project conducted by a team of students at the University of
Hawai'i Manoa.  Using C# and the Microsoft .Net platform, we are attempting
to build a B2B system implementing a core Decentralized P2P architecture.
It will be an open network where each node represents both a buyer and
seller.  Participants in the network can search for supplier/buyers of
catalogue-able products, and conduct their procurement cycle online.
Company servers running our OpenB2B servent will handle internal requests
from employees using a browser-based interface.  We expect to use ebXML and
UNSPSC from the UN, cXML, biztalk.org schema repository, oracle's xml, and
commerce 1's xml.  We are going to use SOAP to exchange data.  We are going
to use web services heavily and UDDI for discovery.  We would like to have
our project hosted on Sourceforge to gather input and feedback from the
community, as well as invite interested programmers to assist in
development.
