Hello, one year ago, it was said that you are working on IDER support for the linux mainline Kernel. As far as I see, the Kernel does not yet contain Support for "PT IDER". Can you tell me, where can I find patches or a special Kernel that supports IDER ? I would like to compile a Linux-based Virusscan iso-image (like Knoppicilin) that works with IDER and SOL. Thank you Winfried |

Hi, Axel This is Tony from Intel. Thank you for your concerning on Intel AMT. I'm afraid you must have AMT-enabled platforms such as Weybridge/Montevina/McCreary so that you can do power cycle/power off etc. instead of your current serial lines... As far as I know, Intel AMT doesn't support server side at present. Please let me know if you need more information. You have missed required build steps described in Linux/Intel_AMT/Samples/Soap/README file. Read README file included in SDK. You have to do (at least) <from SDK directory>: chmod a+rwx -R Linux cd Linux/Intel_AMT/Samples/Soap make wsdls Btw. You should use gSOAP 2.7.9. gSOAP 2.7.10 is broken and will fail. Hi everybody, When I try to launch one example in SDK I get an error message. The example I want to launch is "AssetDisplay". First I have installed gSoap in my Linux. I am using Red Hat Enterprise Server 5 and SDK v5.0 The error message I get is: "There is no rule to build the objective /../../gSoapgeneratedCode/soapClient.o ncessary for AssetDisplay. Stop" I have translated it because it appears in Spanish, my language. Can anyone help me please? I have been trying different things during a week but I don´t know what else to do. Thanks a lot. |

Hi all, First of all I want to introduce me to everybody. My name is Alberto and I write from Spain. I´m working in a project using iAMT and I would like to use Python DTK. My problem is: when I launch amt commander (./pyamt_commander) I receive an error because it doesn´t find some libraries (pango, pygtk, gtk, etc...). I have installed all the necessary programs before running Python DTK like pygtk 2.10, ZSI 2.0, elementtree ( program list appears in README file of Python DTK). What can I do to be able to use amt commander? I am using Red Hat EL5. Can you help me? Thanks a lot |

IDER driver is not supported in Ubuntu kernels and any other kernels. We are currently working on getting IDER support in the mainline kernel. I you are using a recent development kernel I could send a patch that would make this work (for example 2.6.25rc9). Anas ________________________________ From: ope...@li... Hi there, I've packaged lms-3.1.0.31 according to the Fedora packaging guidelines, so I thought it would be useful to post the spec file and patches so that if/when LMS gets submitted to Fedora they can be re-used. Each of the patches attached contain a header explaining the purpose of the patch. Please apply for the next release. Also, feel free to include the spec file in the next release tarball if you think that makes sense. Thanks, Mark. |

Hello all, Some users asked us about the support for HECI integrated temperature sensors. I tried to find some relevant documentation, but I could not find anything I could send to HECI to obtain the temperatures, fans etc. Please can someone point us to the correct docs? I think aim would be to develop kernel hwmon driver, which will read the data through HECI interface. I can tell more info if you need. Thanks, Rudolf |
