I have renamed this project OpenAL# which I think is more appropriate since it's geared at cross platform and the .NET name implied Microsoft's .NET framework.
So it's been a while but I'm going to start actively working on this project again with the goal of getting a release out that is stable and usable. I have taken a new tact and am going to convert this over to Mono. The first step is to convert the VS2005 unit tests to nunit.
I would like to welcome and congratulate Chris Cable as the newest developer on the team. We're going to be doing big things here gentlemen. Stayed tuned.
Well, it's almost been a year since I started this. I can't believe it, man how time flies. This has been a very busy year for me, with the birth of my son Xander. I was hoping to be farther along by now. I almost have the unit tests completed and a beta version is very close. :) Cheers
Hey, you might be wondering where I am with the coding progress. I'm currently working on the unit tests. I don't want to release the first cut of code without them. This will ensure that you get only quality code :) Cheers.
Well I've almost got the first cut at this audio framework completed. I've coded all of the class structures, implemented all but the capture class. The next step is to add some unit tests and tracing. Then to create some samples, I'll probably base the initial samples off of the samples from OpenAL itself. Stay tuned.

Well this project has been approved. We should have a first version available within a couple of months. The first version will be code only and won't include an installation, documentation or samples. That will come in future versions. Stay tuned.
