Hi !

This is a neat project, have you actually considered contributing some of
your code to the flightgear project (http://www.flightgear.org)?

It could definitely benefit from some of the functionality you've
implemented in this project.

If you are interested in integrating some of your project's functionality
into flightgear, you may want to subscribe to the flightgear devel
mailing list using sourceforge http://www.flightgear.org/mail.html

    Hello. I am subscribed to the flightgear-users list; the devel list wasn't relevant to me. In my earlier work (named 747IPC) I had already written working code that drives flightgear as a slave, to do scenery generation. This code will soon be integrated into WinPS1 :-)

    Note that this project does not write a new flight sim; it simply wraps around the Aerowinx sim. The Aerowinx sim is proprietary, closed-source code; I don't see a way of integrating that stuff into Flightgear. The way it works now is:

    PS1 -> flight dynamics model + aircraft systems + avionics + flight instruments
    FlightGear -> scenery

    Can my project be turned into a Flightgear module so that Flightgear now becomes a wrapper for WinPS1 which is a wrapper for PS1 ??? Wow.

    Keep the ideas coming.
